Was out for class from 9am to 7pm today.. tired.. :)
hmm... I am deciding between taking a course in Elements of Taxation or one in Taxation of Corporate Transactions. The Elements of Taxation course will be easier to me, since I have been doing tax work for the past few years, and I guess though I will learn more about the UK system and Capital Gains Tax from this course, the benefit of this course to me will not be as great as the course on Taxation of Corporate Transactions.
On the other hand, though I am interested in Taxation of Corporate Transactions, I am afraid I do not have the required legal training and background to handle the demands of the course. I was praying silently during class for wisdom from God to decide which course I should take...
And then some thoughts came to my mind. I have travelled so far to pursue a degree in a subject that I like, I should make the most out of it. Taking up Taxation of Corporate Transactions means I will have to spend more time reading up and doing research but I will learn much more from these topics that I know little about. I should have the courage to step out of my comfort zone and do something new. Although I may not be able to score well in this subject, I am sure I will get to learn something in the process of taking up this challenge... ok. So Taxation of Corporate Transactions it shall be!

Yes...i fully agree with you. As long as u dun fail, I guess it's alright coz u'll learn new things.
